Speed cameras are now enforcing work zone speed limits on parts of the Beltway in Maryland.

The cameras are catching violators near the Northwest Branch Bridge between University Boulevard and New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring.

Violators will be ticketed $40 dollar for going 66-miles-per-hour or more.

Next week, speed cameras will begin taking pictures between Pennsylvania and Branch Avenues in Prince George's County.

Those caught speeding will get a ticket in the mail.
