Here's one way to stop getting speeding tickets in Montgomery County -- set the speed cam on fire.

Police are looking for those responsible for setting one ablaze early Monday morning in Montgomery County.

Gaithersburg Police said they got a call at about 2 a.m. about a fire on Quince Orchard Road between Hillstone Road and McDonald Chapel Drive.

Police arrived and found the speed camera box on fire. Fire crews put out the blaze a short time later.

Sgt. Rudy Wagner said the preliminary investigation showed the fire was intentionally set.

Anyone with information should call the Montgomery County Fire Marshall at (240) 777-2400.
