Former Soccer Coach Arrested for Sexual Assault on a Child

Police say 47-year old Luis Hoil, a former coach for the Crystal City Soccer Club, is behind bars on suspicion of sexually assaulting at least one child.

An Arlington soccer coach has been arrested and charged with forcible sodomy, and police are concerned there may be more victims.

Luis Hoil, 47, who has lived in Arlington County for the past 20 years, is accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile male multiple times in a period between 1999 and 2001, when the victim was in his early and pre-teen years.
 
The accuser is now in his 20s and is incarcerated, News4's John Schriffen reported. He told prison officials about the abuse, which led to an investigation that led to Tuesday's arrest.
 
Hoil has shown a pattern of sexual abuse and he worked with children, raising concerns of additional victims, police said.
 
Between 1998 and 2003, Hoil coached soccer for the Crystal City Soccer Club. Team members are students from the Oakridge Elementary and Gunston Middle School areas.
