People in Prince George's County, Md., said they're being snubbed by popular discount websites.
Representatives from the county executive's office reached out to Groupon and Living Social and called for more deals in the area.
They said local hotspots are being neglected in the deal-of-the-day offerings.
News4 also reached out to the sites for comment.
A LivingSocial spokesman said deciding where to offer deals boils down to customer interest, as well as the number and variety of local merchants.
Groupon said it has no news to share about increasing its presence in Prince George's County but stressed deals have been featured there.
