This weekend's looming blizzard prompted University of Maryland College Park officials to change the dates for students moving into dorms.
The university posted on its website that the campus will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some staff will be on hand, though, to help students move into residence halls Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Move-in activities scheduled for Saturday have been cancelled, the university said. Students should not arrive on campus on Saturday.
The school urges students to monitor its website for information on when move-in activities can resume.
