Snow Plow Truck Driver Accused in Hit-and-Run

A snow plow truck driver has been accused of committing a hit-and-run in Manassas, Virginia, police say.

Manassas City police officers said they saw 26-year-old William Sanchez hit another vehicle in the 8600 block of Liberia Avenue before taking off. No one was hurt in the crash, police said.

The snow plow truck matched the description of a vehicle reported stolen in Fairfax County, according to police.

A police officer stopped Sanchez after he fled and arrested him. Sanchez was charged with hit-and-run, driving under the influence and refusal to submit a test.

He was held without bond at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center.
