Small Earthquake Near Mineral

Located near epicenter of last August's quake

Between strength-sapping heat and powerful, dangerous thunderstorms, what's a small earthquake in terms of weather phenomena?

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.0 magnitude earthquake struck in Louisa County,  5 miles east-southeast of Mineral, Va. at 4:04 a.m. Sunday. That area is not far from the epicenter of the 5.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the region last August 23.

There are no reports of any injuries or damage.
