Cars Badly Damaged in Silver Spring Parking Garage Fire

Numerous cars were damaged and three were destroyed during a fire in a Silver Spring parking garage Monday morning.

The blaze occurred on the third floor of the six-story Cameron Street Garage, located at 8530 Cameron St. in downtown Silver Spring.

Damage is estimated at more than $75,000 to the cars and $25,000 to the building.

The fire was reported to be under control around 9:50 a.m. Fire officials believe the fire started accidentally.

 No one was injured.
