WASHINGTON -- For the third time in recent days, Pepco crews tested the sidewalk at 14th and N streets in Northwest to determine whether stray electricity was flowing through it, WTOP reported.

The tests follow complaints from several dog owners who said their dogs were shocked when the sidewalk was wet and had salt spread on it.

Tests have yet to find any evidence of electricity in the sidewalk, but Pepco is taking the complaints seriously and working with the city to make sure there isn't an electricity problem in the area.
