Metropolitan police said a man was shot outside a D.C. bar early near Dupont Circle Saturday morning.
The shooting occurred around 3:15 a.m. outside of the Mad Hatter bar on Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. The victim was transported to the hospital, and police said he is in grave condition.
Police said Ryan Matthews, 27, of northwest DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with intent to kill. The victim has not been identified.
