Shoe Store Employee Accused of Robbing Own Store

An employee at a Clinton, Maryland, shoe store was arrested Wednesday for allegedly robbing the store where she worked, Prince George's County police say.

Officers were called to the business in the 9000 block of Woodyard Road on Oct. 4 after a woman, implying that she had a weapon, robbed the store.

Investigators say they later developed 26-year-old Tiffany Latrice Reid as a suspect in the robbery. After her arrest Wednesday, police say Reid also confessed to robbing the same store in December of 2013.

She faces charges in connection with both robberies.
