Police in Frederick County have arrested register sex offender and charged him with possessing child pornography.
Robert Ingram, 58, was arrested Monday at a motel where he was apparently living.
Authorities say they found four computers in his room along with thousands of files containing child pornography.
Police say Ingram admitted to downloading child porn containing victims ages five to nine.
Ingram is being held in a Frederick County jail on $500,000 bond.
Ingram pleaded guilty to a sex offense in 2006.
