Four Men Sought in Sex Assault, Home Invasion in Southeast

    D.C. police are investigating a violent home invasion at a southeast Washington home. Investigators say the residents were tied up and tortured for hours.

    Four people are being sought in a home invasion and the sexual assault of a man in Southeast D.C. early Wednesday.

    D.C. Police say three people entered a home in the 4200 block of Southern Avenue SE around 2 a.m. where five residents being held against their will in the basement by four armed, masked men.

    The intruders then forced the three victims down to the basement, but brought one of them to a separate room, where they demanded money, threatened him, and then physically and sexually assaulted him.

    Authorities said the second and third victims were also physically assaulted.

    The homeowners did not want to speak with News4 Wednesday afternoon, but there was a scuffle later in the day between several women who had exited the house and another local television crew.

    The armed men are wanted for first-degree sexual assault and burglary. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 202-727-9099 or send a text message to 50411.
