Several smash-and-grab robberies were reported at Montgomery County businesses early Tuesday.
Shortly after 3 a.m., police got a call about an alarm at a dollar store in the 13400 block of New Hampshire Avenue, near Colesville Road in Silver Spring.
When police arrived on the scene, they noticed that a nearby Dunkin Donuts and Little Caesars had also had smash-and-grab robberies.
Police are investigating the crimes, but don't yet know how much money was stolen or if there is surveillance footage.
Police also got a call at 2:50 a.m. reporting a Dunkin Donuts in Cabin John had had a smash-and-grab robbery, but police aren't sure when the incident occurred because it wasn't an alarm call.
