Ten people were taken to the hospital Thursday morning after a multiple vehicle crash left one car on top of another along I-295 southbound.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash near Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue NE.
Police have not released many details about the crash, but pictures from the scene showed a small SUV on top of a car.
Fire officials say one person suffered life-threatening injuries and another person's injuries are serious. The remaining patients suffered less serious injuries, fire officials said on Twitter.
The scene has been cleared.
