Several Bottle Bombs Explode Outside Md. Home

The ATF, FBI, deputies and State Fire Marshal all responded to a Maryland home, outside of which they found six bottle bombs, some detonated and some still active.

A resident living in the 11300 block of Golden Eagle Place in Waldorf, Md. called police just before 4 p.m. Tuesday. He said he heard several loud explosions behind his fenced-in yard.

Once crews arrived, they found four soda bottle bombs that had detonated and two more that were still active. The remaining bombs were detonated and crews gathered evidence.

An investigation is pending.
