Serious Accident on Fairfax County Parkway Near I-66
Three injured in incident

A tractor trailer was part of a multi-vehicle crash that shut down the southbound lanes of the Fairfax County Parkway on Monday morning.

Around 8 a.m. Fairfax County Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Fairfax County Parkway (Rt. 7100) at I66.
Several vehicles and a tractor trailer were involved. Police said three people were hurt in the crash, one with life-threatening injuries.
At 9:40 a.m., on southbound Fairfax County Parkway, all lanes were closed at Interstate 66. Two lanes of northbound Fairfax County Parkway were moving. All ramps from I66 to Fairfax County Parkway were closed.
By 11 a.m., all the delays had cleared.
