The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office is working to identify a man who stole a woman's cell phone and used the device to take pictures of himself.
Authorities say the woman dropped her phone in the parking lot of the Early Bird restaurant on Mervall Dean Road on June 29 at about 2:30 p.m. When she returned to the area a short time later, the phone was already gone.
According to investigators, the person who took the phone has been using it to take selfies.
