News4's Jackie Bensen spoke with a Springfield, Va. homeowner who recorded a violent beating outside of his house Monday night.
When Jack Webb installed a security camera outside of his home last year, he didn't expect to see an all-out rumble Monday night.
The security video footage shows about a dozen teens repeatedly kicking and punching another teen, just feet from Webb's home on Braddock Road in Springfield, Va. Webb was inside, and heard the commotion.
"I looked outside and saw a fight in progress and thought, 'Well this is a little different,'" Webb said. "It looked to me initially like two people were fighting each other, but once I saw the video, one guy was just getting the worst of it on the ground."
What Webb saw at the end of the video amazed him -- that teen simply got up, rejoined the rest of the teens and left the area.
"Things are pretty serious when it gets to be dozens against one," Webb said.
Fairfax County Police officers returned to the scene Tuesday, going door to door for information. They say the teens likely attended a party at a home where parents were out of town, and are still looking to identify anyone pictured in the video.
