Second Teen Charged in Manassas Stabbing, Robbery

A second teenager has been arrested for stabbing and robbing a 59-year-old man at a Prince William County, Va., shopping center, police said.

Detectives arrested a 14-year-old boy at his home on Thursday and charged him with aggravated malicious wounding and robbery, Manassas police said Monday.

The 14-year-old and a 15-year-old boy approached a man who was taking photos of a shopping center on Sept. 21 as part of a commercial property inspection, police said. They said the boys attacked the man after he refused to give up his wallet.

The man was treated at a hospital for three stab wounds.

Officials said the juveniles took the man's camera and cash and ran off. The 15-year-old was caught that day and charged with aggravated malicious wounding and robbery.
