advertisement

Several months after arresting the first suspect, police have another man in custody in the shooting death of a man in Northeast D.C. in 2007.

Nacarto Gladden, 32, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 4900 block of Quarles Street NE July 17, 2007.

In May, Pennsylvania officers arrested a man on unrelated charges then extradited him to the District. He was charged with first-degree murder.

Friday, 29-year-old Don Hancock of Northeast was charged with murder while armed in Gladden's death.
