Sister Arrested Shortly After Nov. 8 Robbery

A 19-year-old suspected of robbing an M&T Bank with his sister is now behind bars.

Prince George's County Police Department announced that Shakir Taylor has been arrested without incident in connection with the robbery in Forestville, Md., on Nov. 8.

That day, siblings Kadija and Shakir Taylor walked into a bank located in the 3700 block of Donnell Drive -- the same block where they live.

The Taylors passed a note to a bank teller demanding money, and the teller complied. The suspects fled on foot.

Kadija Taylor, 20, was arrested shortly after.

Information received via the county's Crime Solvers tip line helped detectives locate Shakir Taylor, who has been charged with robbery.
