Portsmouth School Bus Drivers Charged After Fight

Two Portsmouth school bus drivers face charges following a fight in the bus depot yard.

Portsmouth police Detective Misty Holley tells media outlets that one driver went to her car, retrieved a stun gun and hit the other driver with it.

Holley said Tuesday's incident began as a verbal altercation between the female drivers. The altercation then became physical.

One driver was charged with assault and battery and possession of a stun gun on school property. The other driver was charged with assault and battery.

Both drivers suffered minor scratches.

No children were present at the time of the incident.
