School Bus Driver Freed Two Hours After Crash

Rescuers needed about two hours to get a school bus driver out of the bus after he crashed into a tree.

The bus crashed near Kirby Road and Barbee Street in Falls Church, Va., just after noon as the driver was returning to the garage. He had already dropped his students off at school, so no children were on board, but he suffered life-threatening injuries.

Firefighters used a lot of extra equipment to move the bus before finally freeing the drive.

There's no word on the cause of the crash.
