Prince George's County Police are at the scene of a school bus accident in Fort Washington, Md., that left three students injured.

According to police, a Prince George's County Public School bus occupied with students was headed for Oxon Hill Middle School on Monday morning when the incident occurred.

A little after 8 a.m., the school bus and a van were involved in an accident in the 8300 block of Indian Head Highway, officials said.

Authorities said the school bus driver and three students were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the van has suffered serious injuries.
