Rising Humidity and Storms Expected Monday, Tuesday

You can expect a hot and humid start to your week with a good chance for storms in the D.C. area, Storm Team4 says.

Monday will be partly sunny with some isolated storms expected in the evening.

It could feel like the triple digits in many cities in the D.C. area Monday afternoon as muggy weather mixes with temperatures in the low to mid 90s.

Storm Team4's Somara Theodore said D.C. will likely feel like 103 degrees while Leesburg will feel like 104.

There's a high chance for widespread showers and storms on Tuesday, when D.C. hosts its first MLB All-Star game in decades.

Tuesday will also be sticky and steamy as humidity and high temperatures continue. Storm Team4 said strong evening storms could affect people at Nationals Park for the big game.

On Wednesday, it will be less hot and humid with temperatures in the upper 80s, Storm Team4 said.
