Report: Weapon at Spingarn High

D.C. police searched Spingarn Senior High School after a report of a person with a weapon inside the northeast Washington school, but apparently police didn't find anyone.
Police received the report at about noon. The school was locked down, and police cordoned off the area, blocking some traffic near the school.
Students were told to stay in their classrooms as police searching the school room by room with K-9 units. Officers from the 1st, 5th and 6th districts went to the scene, which is clearing without any arrests, NBC4's Jane Watrel reported.
No injuries were reported.
