A 27-year-old Maryland man carried on sexual relationships with two girls, including a 14-year-old who lived in the home where the suspect rented a room, according to Frederick police.
The suspect was charged with three counts of third-degree sex offense and one count of second-degree rape.
The investigation into the relationship with the 14-year-old girl also uncovered a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl, police said. Both relationships were consensual.
A grand jury returned an indictment Friday. The suspect turned himself in to police Wednesday morning. He is waiting to appear before a circuit court judge.
