Redskins One Win Away From Playoffs

The Washington Redskins (7-7) are one win away from winning the NFC East division for only the second time since 2000.

They’ll be taking on the Philadelphia Eagles (6-8), who are still clinging to a playoff hope but will need help to get to the post-season.

The Redskins have won three out of their last four and are looking to make it three straight with a win in the City of Brotherly Love. Earlier this season, Washington beat Philadelphia 23-20 at FedEx Field in D.C.

Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins set a team record last week by passing for more than 300 yards in his sixth game this season. He has 22 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and is currently the fifth rated passer in the NFC.

His favorite targets have been tight end Jordan Reed (74 catches for 778 yards and nine touchdowns) and wide receiver Pierre Garcon (62 catches for 648 yards and four touchdowns).

However, it has been the deep ball to wideout Desean Jackson that has stretched the offense and opened up more of the playbook.

The Eagles have dropped four of their last six, including a 40-17 drubbing last week against the Arizona Cardlinals. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:25 p.m.
