The remains of a skunk found in Henrico County have tested positive for rabies.
Henrico County Police Lt. Eric Owens said Tuesday the skunk was found in a dog pen and appeared to have been killed by the dog. The owner was advised of the test results and directed to quarantine the dog for 45 days.
There were no other reports of exposure to the skunk in that area.
