A black-and-white Spaniel mix puppy was stolen from a pet adoption event earlier this month, and a rescue group has filed a police report as part of their search for him.

The 12-week-old puppy, named Swartz, disappeared from the event in front of a PETSMART in Germantown, Md., on Saturday, Aug. 6 at approximately 4 or 5 p.m.

Anyone with information can contact Montgomery County Police at 301-279-8000.

The puppy would now be 14 weeks old. He is microchipped with an AVID-brand chip, number 071-082-365.
