A huge propane gas leak shut down a major commuter route in Charles County Friday afternoon.
Indian Head Highway is closed in both directions due to a leaking 30,000 gallon tank in Bryans Road. Police said the road may stay closed through Saturday night.
Nine businesses in the area were evacuated.
