UPDATE: Arlington's 911 service was accessible by wireless phone again Tuesday morning.

The Arlington County Emergency Communications Center reported problems with calls from wireless phones.

Verizon is working on the problem.

Those who can't reach 911 should call the alternate emergency number, 703-741-3035, or go to the nearest fire station.

Several other jurisdictions have had 911 problems since Friday's storm.
