Montgomery County police are searching for a school official accused of sexually abusing a student.
A private school admissions director charged with sexually abusing a student turned himself in to Montgomery County police at 11:30 a.m. Friday.
A current student at the Washington Christian Academy in Olney, Md., reported being inappropriately touched by 47-year-old Thomas Charles Wilson, police said. The 14-year-old student told detectives on Wednesday that the incidents occurred on school property between Jan. 1 and Tuesday.
Wilson is charged with sexual abuse of a minor, two counts of third-degree sexual offense, and one count of fourth-degree sexual offense.
The academy said Wilson has served as admissions director since 2008.
