A Prince William County prosecutor has been arrested on drunken driving charges.

Douglas Marshall was stopped around 3 AM last Saturday on Interstate 66 near Centreville.

Fairfax County Police say Marshall showed signs of intoxication and refused a brethalyzer test.

Police say they found an open beer can as well a prescription bottle of Percocet.

Marshall, an assistant commonwealth's attorney for Prince William County, has been charged with driving while intoxicated, felony drug possession and other offenses.

Prince William Commonwealth's Attorney Paul Ebert says Marshall will not be suspended unless he's convicted.
