The former administrative law judge who sued a dry cleaner for $54 million just can't give up the spotlight.
After he failed to collect on his false advertising lawsuit, Roy Pearson Jr. lost his job when D.C.'s judicial commission did not reappoint him to another 10-year term. The commission did not cite the pants lawsuit. Instead it pointed to Pearson's temperament and prudence on the bench.
But Pearson claimed he lost his gig because he was vilified in the media during the pants lawsuit, which he was -- rightfully. And that will only continue until he stops suing and appealing.
Last month, a U.S. District judge tossed Pearson's wrongful termination lawsuit. Now, Pearson is taking his case to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, Legal Times reported.
The appeals court may or may not decide to hear an oral argument in the case.
