A pregnant woman injured in car crash in Halfway, Md., has died, hospital officials said.

Beth Ann Faulder, 26, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday at Shock Trauma in Baltimore. The Washington County Sheriff's Office said she was 22 weeks pregnant.

Deputies told The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown that on Saturday, Faulder pulled from Oak Ridge Drive onto Halfway Boulevard into the path of a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Dixie Lee Pierce, of Hagerstown. Faulder's car was hit on the driver's side.

Faulder and Pierce were taken to a local hospital, where Pierce was treated and released. Faulder was flown to Shock Trauma.
