Fairfax County police talk to the Springfield community after 22 women have been grabbed from behind, possibly by the same man. News4's Jackie Bensen reports.
A serial groper may have struck again in Springfield, Va., police said.
A 32-year-old woman said a man grabbed her from behind while she put luggage in her car outside her home on Franconia Court Tuesday night.
The man ran when the victim turned around.
The assault could be the 22nd committed by one man in the Springfield area over the past several months.
Police will host a community-wide meeting at Crestwood Elementary School at 7 p.m. Thursday to provide a briefing of the series of assaults and offer crime prevention suggestions that may help prevent attacks on women. A Spanish-speaking interpreter will be part of the meeting.
