Police: Would-Be Burglar Found Hiding Behind Table in Woodbridge

A 28-year-old man is facing a burglary charge after police say the resident inside the Woodbridge, Va., apartment he was trying to rob found him hiding behind a table.

The victim was sleeping in his apartment in the 4400 block of Worchester Drive when noises coming from the living room woke him up just after 2:20 a.m. Friday. As he searched the living room, the resident found the suspect -- identified by police as Wesley Kelvin Brown -- hiding behind a table.

According to police, the victim ordered Brown to leave and called 911.

Officers found the suspect a short time later in the area of Darbydale Avenue and Welsh Lane.

No property was reported missing. Police say it appears the suspect entered through the apartment's sliding glass door.
