Police said a woman was able to fend off two would-be muggers in Ferndale, Md.

Anne Arundel County police said the woman was approached early Sunday morning by two men who demanded money.

Police said one of the men ripped the woman's ear buds out of her eras. Police said the woman screamed at the men, and they fled on foot, crossing Maryland Transit Administration light rail tracks in the process.

Police searched the area but didn't find any suspects. The woman wasn't hurt.
