A woman was raped inside a home in D.C.'s Kalorama neighborhood late Friday night, police say.
Officers responded to the 2300 block of California Street NW about 10:30 p.m., where a woman said a man sexually assaulted her.
According to the police report, the victim was blindfolded and bound before being sexually assaulted.
She did not know how the man got into the home.
Police have not released a description of the attacker and said the man also stole items from the house during the home invasion.
