Teens Vandalize 36 Cars at Gaithersburg Apartment Complex

Three teens have been arrested after authorities say they vandalized three dozen cars with a baseball bat and fire extinguisher.

Montgomery County Police spokesman Rick Goodale says a 14 year-old and two 15-year-olds were arrested Monday for vandalizing 36 cars in Montgomery Village.

Goodale says in most cases a baseball bat or fire extinguishers were used by the vandals to smash a window and windshields.

Authorities say they were alerted when a resident of the area witnessed the incident. The teens were on foot when they were picked up by police.

It's not clear if juveniles have been charged or they have an attorney.
