A 23-year-old woman said she was sexually assaulted at knifepoint Sunday night in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County.
After purchasing a cup of coffee at 7704 Richmond Highway, the victim was approached by a man with a knife who tried to rob her around 8:30 p.m. He then sexually assaulted her and fled after she screamed, authorities said.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his late 30s, between 5'6" and 5'8", with a thin build and a narrow face. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap and light blue hoodie.
