Va. Teenage Girl Missing Since Early December Found Safe

UPDATE: Celina Groves has been found safe, police said on Friday, Dec. 16.

Detectives in Virginia are searching for a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing Friday, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.

Celina Groves left the Leesburg area on her own Friday.

She frequents the areas of the Ashburn Village Shopping Center, the Dulles Town Center and Potomac Falls, according to the sheriff's office. 

She is black, stands about 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information regarding her possible whereabouts is asked to contact the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office at 703-777-0475 or submit a tip through the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office app, which is available on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
