Police Search for Suspect in Northeast Murder

Police need the public's help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a June 1 murder in northeast D.C.

Officials are asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest in connection with a weekend murder in southeast D.C.

According to police, 31-year-old Robert Plight was killed June 1 in the 4400 block of Benning Road NE just after 8 p.m.

Police say the suspect they are looking for was seen running by a nearby establishment, and can be seen toward the end of this video:
