Police hope video from inside a Metro station will help them identify a person of interest in a first-degree sex abuse case.

The victim was attacked after 11:15 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 1300 block of 45th Place NE, police said.

The video below shows a person getting off a train at the Deanwood Metro Station and following the victim in the station.

The attacker was described as a black man in his early-to-mid-20s standing 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds with medium complexion. He wore a white polo shirt with a dark horizontal strip across the middle and khaki pants.

Anyone with information about the case should call police at 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
