Police Seek Help in Identifying Hit and Run Victim

Victim struck by two vehicles, first did not stay on scene

Prince George's County police are asking the public's help in a deadly pedestrian accident.

It happened around 9:40 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Metzerott Road in Adelphi.

Police say a man was walking along Metzerott when he was struck by a vehicle. While he was still in the road, a second car hit him. Investigators say the second vehicle remained on the scene, but the first driver kept driving.

At this point police have not been able to identify the victim. He's described as a 30-year-old  Hispanic male, 5' 5" and weighing 120 pounds. Police say he was wearing a gray jacket, and white and blue jeans with red Nike, Jordan tennis shoes.
