Police Offer Reward for Information Regarding Suspect in Sexual Assault, Kidnapping

A man kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman in northwest D.C. about midnight Tuesday, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The woman was walking along the 5100 block of 9th Street NW when she was approached by a man who forced her into his vehicle, drove her to a nearby alley and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The man, believed to be in his early 40s, stands about 5-feet tall and weighs 170 to 180 pounds. He is Hispanic with a light complexion, short, spiked black hair and a clean shaven face, police said. He was last seen driving a four-door, older model, pale, red car, police said.

D.C. Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for assaults committed in D.C.
