U.S Park police said they are no longer looking for a third person in connection with a chase and crash at a Crystal City gas station Thursday night.

Police tried to pull over a Dodge for traffic stop in downtown Washington when it sped away from officers. The chase led into Arlington County where the Dodge hit a Jeep, and then crashed into an Exxon gas station pump.

The driver and a passenger fled from the scene, but were both quickly arrested.

Police originally thought there was a second passenger, but tell News 4 they are not searching for a third person.

One bystander was critically injured in the incident and was taken to GW Hospital. Another person suffered serious injuries, but is expected to be okay.
