Montgomery County police are asking the public for help identifying a body that was found in a shallow grave in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Hikers in a wooded area near Game Preserve Road found the unidentified man's remains in a shallow grave on Nov. 12 at 4:27 p.m.
The victim is a Hispanic man, 5 feet 6 inches tall and in his late teens to early 20s. Police believe his body may have been in the woods since late summer 2016.
Police have released photos representing the shirt and size 8 shoes he was wearing when he was found in the woods. They said they are investigating the case as a homicide.
